To wear flats or boots this season? Answer: Mix it up like Sienna.

If you are planning to wear a heavy jacket, pair it with boots for a more traditional twist on tough-inspired menswear. If you are opting to wear a chunky knit or cashmere sweater, there are two optimal ways to complete the look. You can top it with a heavy coat and boots for a warm, cozy, and laid back look or you can decide to change it up with a lighter jacket and playful flats. And remember, scarves are a sure way to accessorize without overdoing you outfit as clearly shown by these two looks on Sienna. A splash of color or pattern is always fun!

Just keep in mind weather may restrict you from wearing flats if rain or snow is in the forecast. If so, have your boots handy! Either way, you are sure to look your best. The flats would soften the look and take you from wandering the city streets during the day to dinner at your favorite spot.
