I love everything about the holidays and one of my favorites is pannetone. I had some for breakfast this morning with coffee. If you have never tried this delicious Italian holiday treat, you must. Pannetone is a type of sweet bread that has dried fruit and sometimes raisings inside. It is wonderful for breakfast or dessert and is mostly consumed in Italy during the holidays—around Christmas and New Years. The good news is that most markets (and even Costco!) carry Panettone so try it this holiday season, you’ll be glad you did. Enjoy!
